| Love these green roof tiles. Imagine these on a pale pink stucco house... |
My Coconut Grove house does not have a lot of roof tile because it has a flat roof with a parapet. Along the parapet is a thin row of barrel tile. The only place you really see lots of tile would be over the covered porch and the small awning over the front door. My first reaction was to just go with traditonal old world Cuban barrel roof tiles in a a faded tannish, reddish color. Then I thought--why not go with the whole Miami Pink + Green theme and get GREEN colored tiles to top off my PINK stuccoed house??? Would this be too crazy??

Nah, it won't be awkward to combine pink stucco and a green roof for your house. Those two colors are actually refreshing to the eyes. It would be just like drinking a kiwi and strawberry milk shake under the sun.
